My name is Ty Mountford and I'm a 2D animator, illustrator and writer living out of Ballarat, Victoria in Australia. I've studied a Bachelor in Interactive Media (2D Animation) which was obtained through AIT in Melbourne and have also run a single-panel comedic comic page where I would post cartoon characters I've drawn.

My goal as an artist is to tell stories, and especially Australian stories so that I can represent my personal experience growing up in a rural town. I have desires to tell not only just comedic stories, but some dramatic as well.

Having only recently finished my degree, I have aspirations to further develop my professional work and over the coming year I'm going to be designing, storyboarding and working on animating short comedic skits based on Australian cartoon characters whilst also putting myself out there in the freelance market so that I can continue to hone my skills and abilities to work independently or with others in a collaborative project.
